A proper TV installation helps make sure of all this. We only fit TVs, brackets, and soundbars we'd be happy to have on our own wall — no bargain-bin gear.
Gib, brick, concrete, weatherboard — we've mounted TVs on all of it across Auckland & Rodney, and each one needs its own approach. Gib walls need the right anchors found in the right spots so the TV isn't relying on plasterboard alone. Brick and concrete need masonry fixings and a bit more grunt to get in properly. Weatherboard and fibre cement need packers so the mount sits flush and level. We check what we're working with before we start, so the TV goes up solid the first time — no coming back a month later because it's come loose.
Cabling's the other half of a tidy job. Where we can, we run cables inside the wall so there's nothing hanging down between the TV and the cabinet. If the wall's not suited to that (brick, concrete, or a fire wall we can't chase into), we'll talk you through options like cable covers or a floating shelf to keep it looking neat instead.
Fixed bracket — sits the TV flush against the wall for the slimmest possible look. Best when you're always watching from roughly the same spot, straight on.
Tilting bracket — angles the TV down slightly, handy when it's mounted a bit higher than eye level, like above a fireplace.
Full-motion bracket — pulls out and swivels, good for larger or awkward-shaped rooms, open-plan living areas, or when more than one seating spot needs a decent view.

Can you hide the cables completely? On most Gib walls, yes — we chase the cable inside the wall cavity so all you see is the TV. Brick, concrete, or fire-rated walls sometimes need a cable cover instead, and we'll let you know before we start.
Do you supply the TV bracket? We can supply a quality bracket suited to your TV size and wall type, or fit a bracket you've already bought — either way works for us.
Will you set up my streaming apps too? Yes — once the TV's mounted we'll get it connected to WiFi, log in your streaming apps, and make sure the remote and inputs are all working before we leave.
How long does a standard install take? Most single TV installs take around 1–2 hours depending on the wall and cabling. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote the job.
